Directions, How To PART 1

If you take a look at my "about" site, you'll see that I've got blue hair. 

Okay it's not my natural hair... It's semi-permanent haircolor, DIRECTIONS.

I like it to be special, a bit freaky and mysterious.. Nobody wants to be normal, am I right?

You can make yourself look like a fairy, a mermaid or your favourite anime character. 

And the best part: it wont kill your hair and after a few weeks your hair will be boring normal again.

My hair was blonde before I put the hairdye in..  Maybe you think " why the hell would anyone put hairdye in this beautiful blonde hair??"  and you're right.. It was because of men... Well they suck and I was tired of this blonde... so I decided to change my haircolor. 

I read a lot about this directions on other blogs, but the one who convinced me was Cira Las Vegas. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen! And she looks so perfect with her colorful hair, so I tried it.

I found a shop in my city where you can buy directions, but you can get them HERE. 

Okay so this was my first try:

Yep I took pink. 

It's carnation pink, mixed with rose red.

How to:

• Get sure you wear old, dirty clothes because the color will stay on it.
• Put an old newspaper all over the floor and everything you like and don't want to be "directioned"
• Your hair should be dry, it absorbs the color better
• Get some gloves!! Trust me, you don't want your hands to be pink!
• Take a picture, you can do a "before/after" collage or just look at it and weep for your old hair after you dyed it

You need:

• Directions, the color you want of course. You can also mix them up.. But please put it together in a little cup or something, just to get sure it will be the color you want.
• Conditioner, the more conditioner you use, the less color you need. But you have to know, it will stay longer on your hair, without conditioner, but maybe you're happy if it's washed out after two weeks ;)
• Some bowls... just to mix it
• A brush, you know those special hairdye brushes

Okay now that you've got all this things done let's start:

1. Put a lot of conditioner in the bowl
2. Now add some of your color, don't take too much, you can always put more in
3. Mix it with the brush 
4. Now you can start.  I prefer take the some of the mixed color and just put it on my hair with my hands and then massage it in just like normal conditioner. But you can take the brush and put it on part after part.
5. When your hair is full of conditioner and color just sit down and wait.       Of course you can wash the bowl or clean up a bit. Do whatever you want.   But don't forget to look at your hair, because after a few minutes it can be bright pink! It depends on your hair structur.
6. When your hair has the color you wanted, go and wash it out. 
7. Because I'm total paranoid, I put in some mask or something after I washed it out and then wait half an hour again. 
8. Dry your hair. But you better don't use a hairdryer, it's not good for your hair.
9. Take a look at your new look and enjoy! Or cry... But anyway take a damn picture!

This is how I looked.
I really loved this pink, but it lasts just for 3 weeks in my hair.
